Pictrium's photographer, Will Lyster has been commissioned to photograph the American Heart Association's 2011 Charlottesville Heart Ball of. Mark your calendar for May 7 -- a time to celebrate the difference you can make in lives. Support and attend your local Heart Ball.
The 13th Annual Charlottesville Heart Ball, "To the Health of Our Community," will be held at Keswick Hall at Monticello on Saturday, May 7, 2011. We will focus on making a difference in the health of our community by educating public, funding early-stage research, and saving lives. The Heart Ball is a time for friends and neighbors to gather and recognize the outstanding doctors, scientists, and health professionals right here in Charlottesville who are making a difference in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The Charlottesville Heart Ball is an annual event to raise funds to support cardiovascular research and professional and community education programs. Locally, the American Heart Association funds research programs at the University of Virginia and provides training and heart-health education opportunities for medical professionals and individuals throughout Central Virginia.
The Heart Ball includes live and silent auctions, live music, and a seated dinner. It will certainly be an evening to remember!
