Pictrium provides custom high-resolution digital Aerial Photography in Central Virginia.

There is a minimum of one hour charged for all aerial photography services. Appointments must be made in advance when possible and weather can affect scheduling and photo quality. If the weather is poor, we will not fly. Humidity and haze can affect photo quality and we may not fly and/or conduct photography on these days.

* This price does not include $57.00 per hour for pilot service. Minimum Pilot fee is $85.50.

Fly with us

If you wish to fly with us, we can usually accomodate you and one other passenger. The Robinson R-44 helicopter allows for a pilot, the photographer and two passengers.

There are certain flight restrictions that we must follow. We cannot fly over historical landmarks (such as Monticello), military bases, some government properties and we must remain at a minimum, 1,000 feet above ground level over populated areas. In rural areas, we can usually descend as low as 500' AGL. While our main operational region is the Central Virginia area, we cover the entire state of Virginia for aerial photography.
